Yoooooo this place is pretty legit. I like the whole setup or the spot. The booth, the bar, the general old school vibe. Some really interesting and delicious slices available here. I think it’s a chain of sorts outta New York but that shouldn’t take away from it. I’ll def be back when I’m in the area.

Got a slice with hot honey. The feel of the restaurant is great and it reminds me of the 80s even though I’m not old enough to remember the 80s

By far the BEST PIZZA in the city!! The Freddy Prinze is a culinary art piece. The sesame seed under-crust brings this pie to a whole new level. The best tomatoes in the business didn't go unnoticed. Superior ingredients Superior results. Parking obviously isn't great but if taking out there's a great tow away zone spot across the street if you zip in & out real quick. LOL! Exceptionally clean place. Staff was attentive and very nice.

Retro shop serving pizza by the slice! Paulie Gee’s has now been added to some of my favorite pizza in Philly. I stopped in on a whim and got the Freddy Pepperoni slice. Oh my gosh was it amazing. The sesame crust was so unique, and every ingredient was high quality and fresh. Pepperoni cups added the perfect salty balance to the sauce. I love the vibe in there - laidback, retro, pool tables, etc. The guy who took my order was also so nice. I will definitely be coming back for more pizza in the future!

Update (November 2023): Revisited and ordered to-go a slice of the Vodka sauce pizza and the Freddy with pepperoni. New favorites! They were busy too and the guy taking orders was friendly and didn't seem overwhelmed. Always a go to spot for a quick bite when I'm in the area. (First Review): Cool spot to grab a slice or even a whole pie! I tried the Mootz which was really good and a slice of Pepperoni. I was satisfied with my experience and will be back soon to revisit!

I’ve ordered whole pies and stopped in for a slice. Simple but so good. Just their hellboy - pepperoni with their hot honey. I like the Detroit style the best. This night was a late night beer and slice at the bar. And it was good. It ranks close to some of the nicer dining establishments.

Every single slice was delicious. The place is absolutely slammed on the weekends. Literally a lineup out the door to get slices. During the week it’s a lot more manageable and the quality is still just as good but the service is more attentive. It’s wonderful and what you would expect For a place that sells New York style. The ovens are set to 625. They quickly double bake your slice when you order it so it has a crispy bottom still the floppy tip that you expect as well as being foldable. I prefer Sicilian squares and this does not miss. The Enzo pepperoni is naturally used here.

This was our first time eating vegan pizza and it was delicious! Growing up in NYC and NJ, I've sampled a lot of pizzas, and this was in the top 5 ever. The vegan pepperoni was perfectly seasoned, crisp and not too thick. We also enjoyed hearty tomato pie slices. The pie had a crispy crust and lightly sweet tomato sauce. Our order was for takeout. Paulie's get the prize for the biggest pizza box I've ever encountered. Maybe that's why most reviews mention getting pizza by the slice.
